Life Line Screening is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to deliver stellar results as part of a scrum, cross-functional, product engineering team, collaborating with other developers, designers, and product manager to extend our cloud-based web platforms. The Sr. Software Engineer will partner with key disciplines to transform Life Line Screening’s development processes.

Senior Software Engineer's Primary Responsibilities

Providing architectural input over solution designs to ensure consistency and continuity across the company’s IT infrastructure and delivery teams.
API Development and front-end development.
Design reusable components, frameworks, and libraries.
Develop and configure automation processes as per the process requirements document to meet requirements defined by the business.
Ensure quality of coded components by using best practice.
Comply with and helps enforce design and coding standards, policies, and procedures.
Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases through Sprints.
Communicate any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager and provide inputs to the change control process.
Training and mentoring other developers within the team in development and delivery discipline.
Develop team standards and best practices while keeping up to date with industry standards, and technology changes to help build robust systems to accommodate the industry requirements and business needs.
Implement advanced JavaScript, React, Bootstrap, .Net Core, CSS, client-side scripting and/or other application programming.

Senior Software Engineer's Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Application development advanced experience with React, JavaScript, Bootstrap, C#, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, proficiency with APIs, REST and SOAP-based web services (SOA), SQL Server or similar
Advanced level of expertise with designing RESTful Web Applications and services (REST and/or SOAP preferred
Experience with Git version control
Experience mentoring junior software developers on development best practices
