The ideal candidate is resourceful and highly capable of working on a team that builds new applications from the ground up. In this role, you will lead our development team in deploying highly secure internal and client facing applications.  

Experience with AWS, API integrations, security practices, as well as development of progressive web apps are highly preferred. Candidates should have good attention to detail, effective communication and leadership, and work efficiently towards deadlines. 

Job Responsibilities:  

Delivering company initiatives on time
Working with company leadership to establish long-term development goals
Leading and managing the development team
Establishing and maintaining AWS architecture 
Creating technical designs for internal and client facing applications 
Development of software tools  
Evaluation and implementation of security best practices 
Establishing API connections between platforms
Establishing a secure DevOps Pipeline

Job Requirements:  

5+ Years Database design and engineering experience
5+ Years Experience implementing security best practices (HIPAA, SOC2, HITRUST)
3+ Years leading a development team
3+ Years Serverless architecture experience
2+ Years AWS experience (Certifications Preferred)
2+ Years development experience of progressive web apps
1+ Years AWS CDK experience
Strong communication skills

Preferred Experience:  

2+ Years DevOps experience
2+ Years unit testing experience
2+ Years experience establishing SSO connections
