A bit about the role

We’re looking for a SysOps Engineer to join our Technology Operations team in a fully remote role based in Canada. Our SysOps Engineers are responsible for providing level-three support to our employees across all hardware, software, and INX Software products.

As a SysOps Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

Deploying INX suite of software products to clients hosted and on-premise infrastructure, including SSO
Migrating clients from on-prem and other hosted environments to AWS
Windows Server management, including patching servers, maintenance plans and back-ups checking the notifications for the issues and resolving them
Successfully manage and resolve complex, escalated support tickets with a strong focus on delivering a high level of customer service and communication
Infrastructure technical background experience including Sysadmin (Windows), DNS, Network and Firewall, Active Directory
IIS, application pools and performance troubleshooting
Infrastructure availability and capacity management
The creation and maintenance of team knowledge, processes, procedures and operational documentation
Provide after-hours support for critical incidents

We’d like you to have

Degree qualified in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant tertiary qualification
5+ years of previous Application Support
Experience with Windows Server and IIS Server/web applications
Knowledge of SQL databases and SQL queries
Working knowledge of AWS, Azure and SSO
Experience with Infrastructure as Code
Ability to interpret and write scripts
Ability to think outside the box
Great communication skills and a keen problem solver
Demonstrated leadership skills
