INTECON, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Security Specialist/Analyst to join its team and manage multi-disciplined security operations. The candidate must possess an active secret security clearance and have experience in handling classified materials, coordinating security protocols, and supporting day-to-day security activities for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) operations.

Key Responsibilities

Providing multi-disciplined security support to a customer’s facility and organization.
Offering day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
Ensuring eligibility for a Top Secret SCI clearance. Although not required at the start, a Tier 5 Investigation must be submitted within 30 days of commencing the position.
Submitting to a counterintelligence polygraph and demonstrating eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
Performing the destruction of classified materials, processing magnetic media for accountability, and maintaining various daily logs for document control.
Assisting in processing inbound and outbound data transfer files and classified mail, preparing facility access control badges, and maintaining personnel security files.
Transferring electronic data files to internal customers.
Researching, processing, filing, and maintaining inbound and outbound visit notices, escorting facility visitors, and maintaining associated logs.
Conducting entry and exit inspections.
Following and enforcing the customer’s Standard Operating Procedures.
Supporting security awareness and education programs.
Performing miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the site lead or Senior Security Representative.
Reviewing, tracking, and monitoring security clearance processing activities with appropriate government personnel to achieve necessary clearance actions.
Preparing and processing inbound and outbound classified mail, faxes, courier packages, and receipts; reviewing Program Access Requests (PARs) for accuracy and access eligibility.
Executing Special Access Program Nomination Process Questionnaires.
Performing data entry and record checks in the Joint Access Database Environment (JADE), maintaining all customer-sponsored personnel access information current, and performing Defense Information System for Security (DISS), and SAPNP reviews of candidates being submitted for SAP access.
Providing Conference Room support, including assisting the Video Teleconferencing (VTC) manager with bridge scheduling and connectivity, and interfacing with the VTC maintenance contractor.
Supporting end-users with issues or requests that occur during a conference.
Providing Tier 1 AV/VTC support for routine support requests.
Maintaining and communicating VTC/Conference room schedules for multiple rooms.
Monitoring, administering, and troubleshooting network, encryption, VTC, and other devices.
Engaging and coordinating with outside agencies, such as DISA, to track and resolve network service issues.
Working within WPAFB, Area B, Building 45 without a Government sponsor present as approved by the AFRL/RS security manager, following proper building security measures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Security Studies, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in a security role, familiar with security protocols and classified environments.
Secret clearance is required.
