Role

Our client is currently seeking an experienced #400826 Network Administrator (Contract) for a 6-month contract starting in September 2022 with a potential of extension at the client's discretion. The work can be done remotely but resource must reside in Canada for duration of project.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years Network Admin experience providing L2/L3 day to day support, maintenance, and patching of network in an enterprise environment. Previous experience troubleshooting Routers/ Switches (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba), connectivity, Wireless Access Points and Controllers, Load Balancers, and Internet services (DNS, FTP, etc.) would be an asset. Excellent communication skills and positive attitude. All Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Requirement (Nice To Have)

7+ years Network Admin experience providing L2/L3 day to day support, maintenance, and patching of network in an enterprise environment
Previous experience troubleshooting Routers/ Switches (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba), connectivity, Wireless Access Points and Controllers, Load Balancers, and Internet services (DNS, FTP, etc.) would be an asset.
Experience with ticketing system (i.e., ServiceNow, ITSM, remedy)
Experience with network monitor software (SolarWinds) would be an asset.
Experience creating and maintain network infrastructure documentation
Have excellent analytical skills and be a good communicator.
Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Education (nice To Have)

Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science would be an asset
Active Technical Certifications would be an asset (Cisco CCNA or CCNP, Checkpoint, F5)
