KEY RELATIONSHIPS

The Security Analyst will report to the Vice President of Security and Infrastructure and work with the Help Desk and IT Security departments. They will follow the lead of the Sr. Security Analyst/Manager.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for administering security applications, platforms, and systems as needed for the IT Infrastructure and Security Department. The analyst will work with multiple departments to provide support for IIDC defense, investigations, system hardening, policy assistance, forensic, and monitoring and administration of Infosec tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Partner effectively with the Business, Legal, Salesforce team, Call Center, Spa Centers, and IT Departments.
Support for Cloud-Based Security Systems
Participation in the annual execution of disaster recovery testing; provide support for all audit & assessment activities, and adherence to established security standards and procedures
Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative
Leverage monitoring tools for discovery and documentation for event management library and chain of custody-related events that may have court-related impacts.
Conduct detailed technical analysis of internal systems to find indicators of compromise, identify malicious activity, establish timelines of events, and propose technical fixes.
Provide mindful input to IS Security Leadership for company strategy and build forensics capabilities to support company direction.
Architect, design and build forensic processes and technology. Provide requirements and assist the team in building the Forensics lab to meet the needs of the program.
Help establish and mature forensic program. Incorporate best-in-class processes and technology from Digital Forensics Incident Response (DFIR) community.
Collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence from electronic data sources, including laptops, desktops, servers, and infrastructure devices.
Investigate incidents leveraging common forensics tools to analyze memory, hard drive, malware, and network-based artifacts.
Conduct detailed technical analysis of internal systems to find indicators of compromise, identify malicious activity, establish timelines of events, and propose technical fixes
Prepare and review written technical reports that document case findings and lead the internal development of DFIR policies and procedures.
Security-related certifications preferred (Noted Below)

QUALIFICATIONS

The following qualifications are required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Security, Forensics, or related field.
3+ years of cyber security, forensics, incident response, or threat hunting experience.
Solid knowledge of Cloud-based applications and platforms

The following qualifications are desired:

Familiarity with: Mail gateway defense tools, Cloud Security Access Brokers, SIEMs, EDR systems, 365 Security tools, SSO/MFA systems, and forensic processes.

Preferred Certifications one or more: CSFA, CEH, GCFE, GREM, GCTI, GCIH, GCFA, GPEN, CISSP, SANS, Microsoft, Salesforce, and or Amazon related Certifications.
