We are currently looking for a Manager, Cyber Security to join out IS&T/ Technical & Support Services department.

The Manager, Cyber Security is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the company's digital assets are protected from unauthorized access. This role is responsible for leading & directing a Cyber Security team and leading the development, and the implementation of strategies towards securing both online and on-premises information systems infrastructures, reviewing metrics and data to filter out suspicious activity, and finding and mitigating related risks before breaches occur. The Manager, Cyber Security is also responsible for developing, implementing, and leading activities in response to a suspected or actual information systems breach.

Responsibilities

Coordinate technical implementation of IT Security technology infrastructure (i.e. systems, network, hardware, etc.) and components
Liaise between the technical and application teams to ensure all HRH computer systems are secure and protected.
Identify, document, track and communicate IT security related issues and risks and ensures escalation to achieve timely decision making
Provide leadership and supervision to assigned staff within an on-call environment; remain available to work on-call and on off hours (evenings, weekends)
Responsible for generating reports for IT administrators and business managers to evaluate the efficacy of the security policies in place so as to derive necessary policy, systems or infrastructure changes require for network security
Provide leadership in the development of training programs for new hires on the Hospital’s information systems security framework(s) and policies
Provide administrative direction and support for daily operational IT security activities of the IS&T department
Plan, coordinate, direct, and design the organization’s IT security operations to meet organizational goals and objectives
Provide leadership and direction in the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT Security infrastructure, including the network, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals
Provide leadership and direction in the provision of end-user services, including cyber security
Define the Security infrastructure requirements for the implementation of new business systems (e.g. cost, deployment, integration, risk management)
Lead and direct IT security asset management (e.g. hardware, software, equipment)
Update the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) regarding the status of infrastructure support and development activities to resolve barriers to project completion, persistent or high-risk IT security issues.
Identify and integrate safe, best information systems practices into daily activities to foster the delivery of safe and exemplary patient care
Lead and direct planning, development, and maintenance of highly advance cyber security platform across the organization in collaboration with the CTO
Foster innovation, plan and coordinate projects, assign and negotiate resources to support IT security strategic and operational plans
Lead, develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices related to supporting and protecting HRH data and computing infrastructure
Benchmark, analyze, report on, and recommend improvements and growth of IT security infrastructure and systems
Manage financial aspects of IT Security infrastructure purchasing and management
Develop business cases to analyze and justify cost/benefits of IT and telecommunications security infrastructure initiatives
Develop and implement IT Security policies and procedures for infrastructure architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, and service provision
Develop requests for proposal to support procurement activities
Oversee vendors, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements compliance

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent area of study
Graduate degree in Information Technology or equivalent area of study preferred.
Certified in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation, Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert, Cisco Certified Web Content Security, and Cisco Certified network Associate required
Minimum 5 years of experience with Leading Security technology support and service operations required.
Minimum 5 years of experience with ITIL experience required.
Minimum 5 years of experience with Supporting Security Infrastructure environment and systems preferred.
Thorough technical knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledgeable in IT/Telecom infrastructure (servers, networks, operating systems, telecom and associated protocols, standards, security/privacy practices and laws)
Knowledgeable in IT security services delivery and related tools and processes
Understanding of Meditech Client Server / Microsoft / Vm ware / Storage / Networking and I.P Telephony, Cisco Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and prevention Cisco mail security. Endpoint protection.
Proven experience in IT Security project leadership
Applied experience in researching and developing IT security business cases and RFPs for procurement processes and vendor management
Managing people including directing, coaching, mentoring and performance management
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
