Position Summary:

Hostpapa is looking for an IT MANAGER reporting to the VP of Technology. You will be leading Hostpapa’s internal IT strategy, execution, and operations. You will oversee the daily operations and support services for hardware, software, corporate applications, data centers, network infrastructure and security for the internal teams.

What you’ll do:

Oversee all internal IT operations, strategies and policies, and evaluate them according to established goals
Develop a policy for staff device management and transition: phones, laptops, peripherals, etc
Manage and lead the IT team (up to 5 team members) and MSP to accomplish IT projects
Develop and maintain technology infrastructure and systems that support corporate IT needs: VPN, inventory, risk analysis, phone systems
Assist with creating and implementing cybersecurity policies and training for team members
Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management
Catalog, audit, and control access to first - and third party - systems
Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts

About you:

Proven experience as IT Manager or similar role in a company of at least 500 employees
Experience designing and implementing IT policies
Experience managing IT outside of the Microsoft ecosystem
Experience managing IT in an organization with mixed hardware
Project management experience to keep the team on task
Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
Previous experience with distributed, self-hosted VPN systems
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Experience providing IT solutions in an remote environment preferred
