Your Role

Home Partners of America is looking for a talented Security Analyst with experience in cybersecurity. This job requires that you report on and document security threats, as well as take measures to prevent threats from being carried out. You will make things more secure by protecting system boundaries, keeping computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks, and securing highly sensitive data, as well as regularly completing security compliance processes.

You possess a desire to quickly expand your knowledge of security systems and IT systems with a goal of maturing security processes and helping wherever needed. You have a desire to keep up on the latest security trends and use that knowledge to improve HPAs security posture, while ensuring we maintain the processes already in place, always looking for ways to improve existing methods. You will work with a geographically dispersed group of employees and assist with both local and remote systems.

Responsibilities

Operational support and triage of information security monitoring alerts.
Complete regularly scheduled security protocols and document the results. Summarize and prioritize findings for the security engineering team.
Assist IT engineers in implementing and enforcing security standards across the environment.
Execute on information security activities such as vulnerability management; application development security; business continuity; networking; risk management.
Perform first level incidence response and computer forensics activities.
Assess security controls and evaluate the security posture of the organization.
Evaluate third party relationships for compliance with security standards.

Requirements

Excels at managing competing priorities with the ability to quickly shift focus. Coordinate tasks with team members and inform management of the status of projects.
Strong ability to research technical challenges and learn quickly to provide security guidance.
Attention to detail with the ability to follow audit procedures, complete and interpret the results of various security scans, and assist in triaging security alerts.
Familiarity with authentication systems, encryption methods, networking, and general administration of SaaS technologies desired.
Great interpersonal and communication skills when working with a geographically dispersed team.
Admin experience with Windows 10 or 11, Windows Server 2016 and 2019, MacOS, or Ubuntu/Debian is desired.
Certification related to infosec, or IT is a plus, but not required (A+, CEH, CISSP, ITIL, Security+)
