About The Role

Groove is looking for a Security Analyst who has strong interest in the field of information security to support Security Operations. This role will play a critical role in building trust with our customers. It involves keeping our Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies and procedures up to date with the latest best practices and security standards, supporting internal and external security audits, and supporting the sales team in responding to security questionnaires. You may also interface with our customers' information security teams and help our customers understand the security controls we have in place to protect against today’s cyber threats.

Responsibilities

Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC):

Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive ISMS policies and procedures
Work with other departments to ensure compliance with security controls across the organization
Risk remediation advisory, monitoring and tracking
Conduct audit readiness assessments and coordinate with internal and external functions and audit resources
Assess external vendors for risk / compliance with the ISMS
Help to implement or consulting on the implementation of new security controls
Manage Security Awareness and Training activities
Support security program continuous improvement initiatives

Sales support:

Support the Security, Sales Engineering and Legal organizations in responding to security questions or review security requirements from customers as part of the bid process, including customer RFP requests and security questionnaires and security assessments.
Maintain technical and product information for RFP responses and customer questions / requests, based on frequently asked questions.
Review Contracts security related terms and conditions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
2+ years of information security, security grc or sales engineering experience
Knowledge of cloud security and security controls
Strong technical presentation, organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and maintain a positive attitude
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Data Privacy, NIST 800-53, SOC2 or ISO 27001 auditing experience
- Heroku/AWS or Microsoft Azure experience
- Working experience in regulated environments
- CISSP, CCSP, CISA or CISM
