The impact you’ll have at Genesis:

In your role, you will work as part of an IT Information Security Team in an agile environment. This position will require a mix of technical, analytical, and creative skills. Your focus will be on developing and managing the Information Security metrics, telling stories with data and effectively communicating with all levels of the business.

As our Information Security Analyst you will:

Implement and maintain a modern Information Security analytics program focused on creating meaningful metrics and monitoring.
Build and maintain self-service security metrics and dashboards using data visualization tools.
Provide program support through an analytical lens.
Identify and apply solutions and critical thinking to a myriad of complex problems.
Participate in the establishment of Information Security policies, standards, processes, and procedures.
Collaborate with IT and other lines of business to implement improvements for Information Security.
Support Information Security Awareness program through data insights and gamification, and assist with phishing program, creating educational materials, and other support items.
Support the Information Security Risk program through data mapping and analysis.
Write and maintain technical documentation.
Occasionally support incident response as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
Proactive, results-oriented, with outstanding follow-up skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast paced ever changing environment.
Working knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and methodologies.
Understanding of modern computer components, cloud, monitoring, and logging.
Experience using programming languages such as python or PowerShell.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to discuss technical topics with a non-technical audience.
Ability to present self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.
Demonstrate ability to engage and collaborate with employees, presenting a friendly, approachable demeanor to leverage security to help others succeed.
Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and presentation skills.
Able to work with a geographically dispersed team as well as independently.
