MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS AN INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST

As an Information Security Analyst at Christian Community Credit Union in San Dimas, CA, you will play a vital role in supporting the Senior Vice President/CTO in Cybersecurity Management. Your responsibilities will include administering and configuring various cybersecurity tools and applications, acting as an escalation point for incident investigation and response, assessing vulnerability severity, assisting IT staff in vulnerability mitigation, providing documentation for security operations, developing administration procedures, and fine-tuning configuration for new security systems. Additionally, you will be tasked with ensuring network connectivity, monitoring network security, availability, and performance, as well as overseeing hardware and software projects with minimal supervision. This role offers a dynamic and challenging environment where your expertise will contribute significantly to the organization's Information Security initiatives.

WOULD YOU BE A GREAT INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST?

To excel as an Information Security Analyst at Christian Community Credit Union in San Dimas, CA, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a related field (or CISSP certification), Security+ Certification, a minimum of five years of IT experience, and at least three years of hands-on Cybersecurity experience. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP). Successful candidates will have a track record of trust and diplomacy in previous roles, effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical users, the ability to work independently, technical planning and project management expertise, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, experience in investigating/responding to security incidents, and proficiency in utilizing tools for identifying vulnerabilities. This position requires a proactive and strategic mindset to address evolving Information Security challenges effectively.

Knowledge And Skills Required For The Position Are

Bachelor's degree in a related field required (or CISSP in place of BS)
Security+ Certification required
Minimum five years of IT experience required
Minimum three years of hands-on Cybersecurity experience required
