Castellan Information Security Services is looking for experienced Security Architects to join our team of experts for current and future projects to help us grow and serve our clients.

You will participate in delivery of Castellan projects and services for our clients across Canada.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE:

· Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science / IT, or equivalent depth and breadth of experience.

· Relevant professional certifications are an asset (CISSP, CPP, CISM, PMP, or Prince 2).

· Proven experience as a Security Architect or a similar role, with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.

· In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP).

· Strong understanding of network security, encryption technologies, firewall systems, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability assessment tools.

· Experience with cloud security technologies and services

· Proficient in conducting security risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.

· Familiarity with secure coding practices and application security principles.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

· Client Service experience and skills and the ability to work alone.

· Positions are contingent on passing a criminal and credit background check.

· Positions are contingent on applicant’s legal status to work in Canada.

· The positions involve virtual / home-based as well as on-site work and requires the applicant to be physically located in Canada.

COMPENSATION:

Compensation commensurate with experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent

Salary: $70.00-$80.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift
