Who Am I:

I am the Security Operations Manager leading the daily security tasks, advising and directing on new projects, and Incident Response lead. The head over achiever dedicated to keeping Carpenter systems and people safe from cyber-attack.

What Do We Do:

We focus on the day to day monitoring and responding to cybersecurity threats to the business and advance new projects that improve the cybersecurity posture of Carpenter Technology.

Improving Identity and Access Management

Cloud Security and Architecture

Digital Data Infrastructure and Information Security

Continuous Security Operations Improvement

How You Will Make An Impact

You would be part of a high achieving Security Operations team tasked with learning the various tools and concepts required to maintain the cybersecurity posture of the organization. And be tasked with project work to improve Security Operations capabilities.

What We Are Looking For:

Students currently enrolled in a Community College or 4-year university studying Cybersecurity with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Practiced in their field of study and excited to apply it to real-world applications
Ready to learn and willing to jump in with both feet
Strong team and individual player
Flexible communicators and creative problem-solvers
Legally authorized to work in the United States

Pay Range:

Hourly rate is based on two factors - 1- Current program of study and 2- current year or rising year (i.e., Sophomore, Junior, Senior). The range is between $18.50 -$23.50 per hour.
