Primary Responsibilities:

Site Documentation: Lead the documentation team in creating essential materials for security sites, including Master-Books, Bills of Materials, Elevations, and Pull Lists.
Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical leader for both engineering and sales teams. Provide assistance in project planning, client interactions, Statements of Work (SOWs), and maintaining quality standards.
Issue Resolution: Be the primary contact for resolving issues related to security systems, including door access and camera malfunctions.
Project Adjustments and Assessments: Evaluate and manage Site Instructions (SI) and Change Orders (CO) for security projects to ensure accurate implementation and pricing.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Sales Design: Identify needs, develop strategies, and lead the design process for security system projects, ensuring tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
System Commissioning and Programming: Manage the commissioning and programming of various security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Systems, Nurse Call, and Intercom systems.
Site Survey and Installation Oversight: Conduct site surveys and manage the testing, programming, and final commissioning of security installations.
Ongoing Troubleshooting and Support: Provide continuous troubleshooting and support for security systems to ensure they perform optimally and meet quality standards.
Training and Mentoring: Deliver both in-house and field training to field technicians and junior engineers, and offer educational sessions to project-involved end-users and technical staff.
On-Site Problem Resolution: Travel to project sites as needed to directly address and resolve system-related issues.

Qualifications

5+ years of proven Security System Engineering experience on large projects for products or services in the Security Sales/Installation Industry.

Experience with the tendering process and putting together estimates within the Industry.

Knowledge of commercial door access, camera and entry system design and equipment selections.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus computer proficiency

Past employment experience within the construction industry preferred

Preferred Certificates: ICT, SALTO, Kantech, Avigilon, DSC, Honeywell, Hikvision, Genetec, Axis, Uniview, Aiphone ,TOA, or other industry certificates.
