We are seeking a Product Analyst with an information technology or cybersecurity background to join our growing team. This role would be expected to develop clear requirements for product features with business analysis tools and the BABOK framework. Reporting to the Product Manager, this role is an opportunity to grow your product skills, understand and scope new product enhancements and product features, as well as see the impact of your work helping customers. If you’re a curious person who has strong communication skills and enjoys thinking through all of the different permutations of a solution, this is the right role for you!

Beauceron Security is based in Fredericton, New Brunswick. While this role can be worked remotely, please note that due to the highly collaborative nature of the position, it will be necessary to adjust working hours to align with meetings set in the Atlantic time zone.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing features that are in the best interest of all customers and align with Product vision and strategy.
Responsible for managing each assigned feature or project through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Responsible for maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the SDLC to understand problem statements and needs to support feature development.
Responsible for collaborating with UI/UX Designer, Architects and the Development team throughout the SDLC.
Responsible for writing thorough specifications for the development of features using the BABOK framework, including but not limited to use cases, user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, root cause analysis, BPMN diagrams, etc.
Responsible for becoming a subject matter expert of Beauceron products to understand impacts and develop new features.
Responsible for performing analysis and providing recommendations to Product Manager on the value of features.
Responsible for researching cybersecurity issues and trends to support Product development and vision.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Technical experience in Information Technology is required.
Post-secondary degree or diploma is required.
At least 1 year of experience in a Business Analyst or Product Analyst role is required.
Experience working on a Product team is an asset.
IIBA certification is an asset.
You have strong written communication skills.
Experience working with senior decision makers.
Proven analytical skills.
The ability to collaborate within a team and work independently.
Willingness to problem solve and identify areas for improvement.
