Axiad is a fast-growing Cyber-Security provider with core focus on identity, access management, credential management, and risk reduction. We are headquartered in Santa Clara, California, with additional development centers in Ottawa, Canada, and Hyderabad, India.

Responsibilities And Duties

A self-starter and a seasoned software architect with a demonstrated past focus on the Identity and Access Management domain and it's evolving challenges
Research and socialize cutting edge problem spaces and technologies needed to meet aggressive strategic goals
Drive architecture and design efforts, and prototype new capabilities where appropriate
Guide implementation of defined architectures to achieve intended architectural goals, principles, and properties
Help define new best practices for any new technologies introduced
Socialize, seek feedback, and gain consensus on architectures to drive team ownership
Provide expert knowledge of industry used service frameworks and cloud deployment techniques
Guide improvement of CI/CD pipelines to achieve security, code quality, and deployability goals

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Technical studies or equivalent related job experience.
10+ years of relevant experience in Java / Spring / Hibernate
Experience designing and implementing scalable and maintainable software systems
Experience in designing and developing performant and scalable REST APIs
Knowledge of deploying on Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or GCP
Energetic and passionate about being successful and learning new technologies
High attention to detail, self-motivated, creative, and flexible
A good problem solver. Ability to brainstorm, troubleshoot and identify key issues and find solutions
Capable of understanding and structuring complex problems that lack clear definitions or boundaries.
Proven team player with the ability to mentor software engineers in best practices
Good oral and written communication

Bonus Experience

Moderate experience in machine learning, including knowledge of algorithms, libraries, data preprocessing and feature engineering techniques
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms such as regression, classification, clustering, and neural networks
Cryptography and its business applications in the IAM space
Exposure to zero trust access management concepts and risk identification and mitigation problems

$130,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + benefits
