Job Title - Security Analyst

Information Security Team is responsible for ensuring compliance with global financial regulators, regional laws, and reducing the risk of cybersecurity incidents and data privacy breaches for the Firm’s global infrastructure, operations, and data. This is achieved by implementing cybersecurity best practices though security standards and policies, security tools, monitoring, incident response, and cybersecurity training. The team focuses on foundational security principals while developing new processes, tools, and testing to address emerging threats. A successful candidate will be excited about cybersecurity, have an understanding of current cybersecurity and data privacy trends, threats, and solutions, and have a track record of curiosity and diligence.

Job Responsibilities

· Monitor security tools, logs, and user reports for potential security issues and run local or global security incident management as needed

· Assist in the vendor cybersecurity due diligence program for onboarding new vendors and recertifying existing vendors on a regular basis

· Create and update standard operating procedures, security guidelines, standards, and policies and ensure that the Firm’s employees, technology, and services are compliant

· Provide cybersecurity training for users of the Firm’s systems and data

· Assist in data classification and help identify any business or regulatory risks for management review

· Evaluate existing and new applications, servers, and cloud products for security concerns and recommend remediations

· Participate in the vulnerability management program to regularly detect and remediate any deficiencies or suggest risk-based exceptions

· Work with the internal technology, application, and portfolio management teams to ensure security best practices for applications, services and processes

· Recommend, design, implement, and manage security tools, controls, and processes

Qualifications

· Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or an equivalent degree or experience

· 3+ years working in an Information Security role

· Hands-on experience with security tools such as enterprise antimalware, vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection systems, centralized log correlators, network access control, and firewalls

· Strong understanding of security best practices across diverse technologies

· Familiarity with security frameworks or cybersecurity regulations are a plus.

· Information Security certifications (ICS2, SANS GIAC, vendor certifications) are a plus
