This role is open to candidates within a commutable distance of our Irvine, CA, corporate headquarters. This role is exempt salary and pays $80,000 to $142,000 annually, dependent on experience. This role is open to candidates who do not require visa sponsorship.

Americor is looking for an Information Security Analyst to join our growing team as our technology matures and our customer base grows. The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for supporting key information & cyber security tasks such as gap analysis, cybersecurity program management, incident response and vulnerability management, while ensuring the program area is compliant based on common benchmarks including SOC and FFIEC.

Information Security Analyst General Responsibilities

Detecting, monitoring, and remediating various aspects of security—including physical, software, and network security
Serving as the technical resource for all Compliance and InfoSec audits. Provide audit information, process and data as requested.
Collaborate with banking partners and other departments to monitor and analyze annual audits and questionnaires and participate in remediation activities.
Providing recommendations for the continued enhancements of training program to minimize security risk in the company.
Collaborating with other teams and management within a company to implement best security practices.
Internal compliance monitoring audit responsibility
Ensure security practices are consistent with appropriate audit requirements.
Overseeing internal and third-party security compliance to ensure security practices are consistent with recommended best practices.
Ensure effective remediation of identified security observations, deficiencies and/or vulnerabilities.
Performing annual reviews of existing security policies and standards
Maintain a compliance matrix (“Matrix”) that identifies the Company’s reasonably foreseeable security risks (“Security Risks”), and the company’s key controls in place to address those risks.
Utilize the Matrix to document regular testing of, and issues related to, the Security Risk controls and the annual assessment of the adequacy and effective implementation of the controls.
Measure and address material changes to the Company’s operations and business practices, relevant changes in technology, incidents of unauthorized access to or unauthorized use of Personal Identifiable Information, or other circumstances that may reasonably implicate the security, confidentiality or integrity of Records containing PII.
Manage all Security related policies and procedures and work closely with other department managers on interdependent policies.

Excellent team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with cross functional teams including finance, HR, IT and Engineering teams.
Must be a good multi-tasker with the ability to navigate and use multiple systems simultaneously.

Education

4-year bachelor’s degree in information technology and/or relevant experience.
3+ years relevant experience facilitating external audits such as PEN Testing, FFIEC Cybersecurity, SOC, PCI
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or similar certification a plus.
