Headquartered in Edmonton, All Weather Windows Ltd. (AWW) is a dynamic leader in the window and door industry in Canada. Operations include manufacturing plants located in Edmonton and sales offices in Langley, Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg.

All Weather Windows is currently seeking a Security Analyst with a System Administrator background.

The Security Analyst will be responsible for supporting the operation, administration, and implementation of IT security solutions, maintaining the security of critical information assets, and ensuring data integrity for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Help maintain and develop cybersecurity policies (Familiarity with NIST is an asset)
Conduct security reviews and audits against established configuration policies and procedures
Ensure necessary security updates, patches, and preventative measures are in place and in alignment to policy
Maintain, test, and develop backup and disaster recovery systems and procedures
Configuring security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommending improvements
Communicate with multiple departments and levels of management in order to resolve technical and procedural cyber security risks

Provide senior leadership with reports and metrics on cyber security related incidents and activities
Provide subject matter expertise for security monitoring and alerting tools

Assisting with Server administration
Own and execute technology projects as assigned
Respond to operational incidents and queries in order to assist in providing IT services

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technical degree is preferred
5+ years experience as a Network Administrator or Server Administrator
1+ years experience implementing and managing cybersecurity tools and protocols
Proficiency in Security and Event Management (SIEM)
In depth, hands on knowledge of Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, VPN, Office365, Firewall, Networking, Multi-Factor Authentication

Takes initiative, is proactive, and has a positive influence on the team
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced dynamic team-based environment
Comfortable with managing own workload, with minimal supervision, for a multitude of diverse client change requests or projects varying from only a few hours’ effort through to many hours’ effort, with a focus on efficient throughput and excellent client satisfaction
Holds self accountable for effort and results regardless of obstacles; takes initiative and thinks ahead of time analyzing what is needed and acting upon it
