Summary

The United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) is a major command of the United States Army headquartered at Fort Eustis, Virginia. It oversees the training of Army forces and the development of operational doctrine. TRADOC recruits, trains, educates, develops, and builds the Army, establishes standards, drives improvement, and leads change to ensure the Army can deter, fight, and win on any battlefield now and into the future. This TRADOC Cloud & Ancillary Support Services (TCASS) contract includes objectives and tasks for cloud migration planning services to include: Inventory (Users, Applications, Infrastructure, Security & Privacy, Services Management); Application Mapping and Assessment; Migration Planning, Migration Services, and Cloud Support Services, Operations & Maintenance (CSS-O&M). This effort also includes DCS G-6 objectives and tasks that support the Army Data Management Plan (ADMP), the Army Portfolio Management Solution (APMS), and SharePoint Administration Services. The main driver of this effort is the benefit of an integrated solution provider to support the HQ TRADOC DCS G6 as it executes HQ DA directives for cloud migration, data center consolidation, data management, portfolio management, risk management framework, and information system continuous monitoring.

DUTIES

Perform evaluations of multiple Information System Programs under TRADOC and Army jurisdiction utilizing NIST 800-53A assessment procedures; During evaluations, the implementation and maintenance of security and privacy controls are reviewed to generate assessment findings that determine the overall effectiveness of the security or privacy control in place for the Information System Program being assessed.
Gather supporting evidence for assessment findings by meeting with and interviewing stakeholders. (e.g., Information System Security Managers, Program Managers, System Managers, System Administrators, Functional Managers, Certification and Accreditation, Auditing, Code Review, Network Engineers).
Draft and review security policies that represent a single NIST 800-53 control family (AC, AU, CA, etc.) and the implementation of said control family to aggregate policies into a central, detailed, and concise System Security Plan (SSP).
Communicate with stakeholders to design control implementation plans for upcoming and operational information systems. Aggregate and design Security Authorization Packages in Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
Utilize SCTMs to provide leadership with an understanding of security posture for Information Systems throughout the RMF+SDLC life cycle.
Create and update Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for corrective tasks. Accomplish continuous risk assessments via quarterly STIG reviews and Daily ACAS scans to maintain an understanding of an Information System Program's risk.

10+ years of relevant experience (with MA/MS). 12+ years experience (with BA/BS).

Practical experience working with various data (network and system) technologies, with a focus on information systems security, cyber threats, and SIEM event analysis.Experience supporting RMF and ATO processes with a focus on maintaining proper system security controls.

Working Conditions

Working Conditions

Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard equipment available.

Strength Demands

Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/ carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
