Act Digital Consulting is looking to fill a role as a Data Architect (Technical Lead) with its client. Please review the job description below:

Client is seeking a Master Data Architect to lead development and implementation of an enterprise-level data system supporting cyber security functions for an international defense customer.

The successful candidate would be expected to lead a design process that includes:

Integration and verification of data from new and existing systems into a master database
Data storage, management, and governance
Data analytics supporting customer needs for monitoring and decision support
Data services that support customer business processes, including management and ongoing cybersecurity functions, including automated and on-demand, supporting both human (UI) and machine (API) interfaces.

The successful candidate would be invited to continue as a System Engineer (and potentially Technical Lead) supporting the installation, launch, and operation of data service(s) using the system developed, including assurance of system functionality and quality assurance, definition of operator roles and processes, and system adaptation to meet tailored requests or process improvement.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years' experience in engineering positions associated with the review, design, development, evaluation, planning and operation of electronic data systems in support of data services in the government or commercial network cyber security domain. The ideal candidate would have familiarity with the defense environment, and hold a current security clearance at the SECRET level or higher. At least three years of that experience should be at the Team Lead/Master Architect level, in support of large-scale enterprise projects.

To serve as technical lead, the candidate must have a degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience, and be a member of a recognized professional body.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIIONS

The Following Qualifications Are Mandatory

Native or a high professional level of proficiency in English.
A current security clearance from the U.S. or other NATO country at the 'SECRET' level or above.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years' experience with the following software platforms and services, or equivalents:

The ideal candidate will have a working level of familiarity with the following platforms or equivalents; and demonstrated experience performing integrations for data ingestion services:
Splunk/ArcSight SIEM
Palo Alto Panorama, Cisco Prime, VMware vCenter/vSphere,
Checkpoint SmartConsole, Oracle E-Business Suite
Azure/AWS Cloud
SCCM, Active Directory, BMC Remedy
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years' experience in the following technology areas:
