Our client is tech start-up who are now looking to launch their digital services and solutions business in the US, with private funding from a major chemical manufacturing company in Pakistan. They are looking for their first US hire in this key role as the VP of Sales for Customer and Commercial Apps in this remote role with travel as needed.

Reporting to the President and Co-founder, you would oversee all aspects of the Custom and Commercial apps sales, business development, customer experience management, and ensure that the interaction between these departments is aligned with the wider company strategy. You would create strategies and metrics to ensure the business stays on track with its objectives and exceeds targets. Formulate sales, strategy, budgets, and processes to ensure the company can achieve its targets and ensure sustainable growth. Work closely with other senior executives to ensure that the company meets its financial goals by maximizing revenue while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy for custom apps and commercial apps.

- Leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets and revenue goals. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Identifying and developing new business opportunities, including new markets and partnerships.

- Working closely with the technical and marketing teams to ensure that products and services are aligned with customer needs and market trends.

- Developing and maintaining strong knowledge of the industry and market trends. Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed sales forecasting.

- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met, and projects are delivered successfully.

- Developing and maintaining sales metrics, performance dashboards, and forecasting models. - Developing and maintaining strong sales processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and scalability.

- Designing print and online promotional materials for the company's products and services.

- Identifying where improvements can be made and developing sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.

- Recruiting sales staff and developing training programs.

- Managing sales teams and maintaining sales operations.

- Outlining and managing sales budgets.

- Setting quarterly and annual sales goals and motivating the sales teams to achieve their goals. - Reviewing customer activity, anticipating consumer needs, and improving customer satisfaction.

- Creating sales reports and providing feedback to the leadership team at company meetings.

- Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships.

- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Related Work Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in sales, preferably in custom apps and commercial apps, cybersecurity, or AI in the software or tech industry

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue goals.

- Strong leadership and management skills.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong knowledge of the industry and market trends.

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with sales metrics, performance dashboards, and forecasting models.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Willingness to travel as needed.

This position is remote, however requires travel to meetings and conferences as needed.
