IT Administrator, Linux and Cloud
The IT security Coordinator is responsible for protecting IT infrastructure, edge devices, networks, and data. More granularly, they are responsible for preventing data breaches and monitoring and reacting to attacks. If you have a background as a programmer, systems or network administration, math and statistics, this role may interest you. Equally as important are, critical thinking, curiosity, and a passion for learning and research. Further, hackers are creative by nature, to outsmart them, security pros need to be, as well. 2-3 years experience will fit our bill.
Workstation administration
· Maintain an accurate inventory of devices.
· Provision (configure, deploy) laptops and desktops for end users.
· Provision PCs and routers for Productions.
· Direct and support internal users with their IT problems.
· Track the work in the IT management application.
Requirements: Skills and Experience
· Willingness to follow up on tasks.
· Network architecture.
· Windows and Linux administration and hardening.
· Virtualization, Cloud (GCP preferred).

Experiences
· Start Up to Scale Up Experience.
· Test and improve network and systems security (including Linux and Windows) – Nessus experience is a plus.
· Keep up to date with IT security trends and risks.
· Experience with PCI-DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001 processes and certifications
· Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
· Experience in identifying problem areas and troubleshoot issues in regard to the systems they administer.
· Familiarity with security frameworks, e.g. NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
· Strong understanding of fundamental information security concepts and technology.
· Experience with IT governance, risk, and compliance management.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
