Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the operational team, with focus on evergreening and operational support
- Resolve complex cross functional technical issues in a timely manner
- Participate in the planning and execution of testing related to production deployment validation, performance, failover and vulnerabilities remediation, and disaster recovery
- Analyze the current solutions environment to identify deficiencies and opportunities for simplification as part of continuous improvements and evergreening activities
- Define and implement required upgrades and changes to address operational problems or new business requirements as well as support problem troubleshooting in Prod and non-prod environments
- Other related activities and deliverables as required
Qualifications
The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in testing or/and operation or/and development or/and integration in network management environments
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with network equipment, specifically with Cisco switching and routing platforms (Cisco 9K, 9300s, 6508 and APIC)
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in IT Operations work, including the operational capabilities and typical challenges of IT Operations
- Demonstrated ability to participate with the development process (supporting continuous integration and deployment) from idea to implementation
- Demonstrated experience with scalable and highly available service-oriented architectures
- Demonstrated experience in working with Agile methodology
- Demonstrated experience in working with Cisco ASA and/or Firepower Technologies
Additional Qualifications
The following will also be considered:
- Demonstrated experience in working with Cisco NCS 5500
- Demonstrated experience in working with ServiceNow
- Demonstrated experience working with F5 Loadbalancers
