Position Overview:

Based in Toronto, the selected candidate will play a key role in delivering IT operations and technical support across the Sagard ecosystem. This position provides a unique and exciting opportunity to work across all levels of the organization to ensure that all business critical systems are highly available, resilient, and secure. The selected candidate will be a key player on the IT Operations team and implement new IT and cybersecurity capabilities and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical support and setup questions for all Sagard staff and offices, and perform advanced troubleshooting
  • Oversee and maintain all on-premise hardware, devices and workstations in the Toronto office while providing ad-hoc onsite assistance as well as debugging and resolving potential issues
  • Provide ad-hoc assistance (both remote and onsite) to other offices and remote employees
  • Perform full lifecycle management of all hardware and software
  • Maintain an accurate and up to date IT asset inventory of software and hardware
  • Administer all cloud-based software systems (i.e. system updates, account creation, group configuration, platform customization/configuration) on enterprise platforms including Google Workspace, Zoom, 1Password, Freshservice, Slack, etc;
  • Manage the technical onboarding and offboarding of employees through the setup and (de)provisioning of devices, as well as training programs
  • Keep up to date on new IT developments through online research and courses
  • Track IT metrics and dashboards; reporting performance results to management

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in an IT support role (or other relevant experience)
  • Postsecondary diploma or degree (or 2+ years of equivalent work experience)
  • Occasional travel may be required to our other offices per business needs
  • Strong proficiency in English
  • Occasional work required outside of standard business hours
